Involved in e-banking API team. It is a web API (Application Program Interface) maintained and developed for Pbe Engage 2.0 and Pbe 3.0 (Internet Banking for Retail to connect Back Office and Host).
Revamp Project
To upgrade existing PBe and Pbe Engage
To enhance the functional environment for cross system integration
To allow self-service maintenance via BBO (Bank Back Office) and reduce dependency on ITD (IT Division)
Task 1: SMS Notification module
SMS Notification is features in Pbe (Picture 1) and Pbe Engage (Picture 2) where involving system to notify or send SMS message to users. SMS message may varies to many functions.
Example (Picture 3): Perform a fund transfer. SMS is send to sender for request PAC number (system generated six digit authentication code) and to notify sender for successful fund transfer.
Business Objective
To allow bank users to maintain SMS and Email content related to CFO (Customer Front Office) platforms Pbe and PB engage 2.0
Required Functionality
To add “SMS Maintenance” and “Email Maintenance” in BBO (Bank Back Office) under content management
All field attributes (date/time, amount) are to be provided by ITD (IT Division) as these are dynamic information depending on the transaction performed
Task 2: Research and Design: Performance of Pbe Web
In order to ensure customers’ satisfaction and security of PBe, there is a few factors need to be considered. One of the factors is performance of the system.
Performance of a website is divided into client side (front end) and server side (back end). (Picture 7)
Task 3: Research and Design: Improvement Multilingual for Pbe Web
To enable multilingual languages mode (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin) in PBe and Pbe Engage. Multilingual website may wider the audience and increase users’ satisfaction.
There are lots of things need to be handle to enable multilingual mode such as the grammar of each language (Picture 9) and how to store the languages (Picture 10).
